I don wanna waste more what I have and use.

as  possible.

we family will keep moving like nomad.

so we can't have too much things.

but i realized “TABLE” is necessary for our life.

cuz we both luv eating time. 

we needed one table can use long time. 

so...

we asked my friend to make a special table that's nomad style!

His name is Jun Takakura.

he is a great architect. and a designer of various things.

we luv and respect his sence. 

he's gonna design a table can be carried. for us.

“tensegrity” that's made a suggestion by Kenneth Nelson

and proposed as theory by Richard Buckminster Fuller.

 Jun incorporated it in his work in order to enable it.

 means foldable table!

he showed us the model.

was already awesome!!!

たくさん欲しい、いろいろ欲しい。

そういう気持ちから、

これだけあればいい、これだけは買い足そうという考えに

少しずつ変化してきている。

大きな引越し、カリフォルニアでの生活を経て

買い物に対する意識が確実に変わってきているとおもう。

まだまだ少しずつだけれども。

捨てるものはなるべく増やしたくない。

新しく取り入れるものは

長く愛せるものにしたい。

という気持ちから、テーブルを友達にオーダーすることに！

テーブルがとても大事なことに気づいてしまったから。

食事の時間は私たち夫婦にとってやすらぎの時間。

お願いした友人(jun takakura)は建築士であり、

そこだけに留まることなくいろいろな物をデザインする。

彼のすばらしくかっこよすぎるセンスは

身なりや生活からもあふれ出ていて、

私たち夫婦はそれがとても好きで、彼という人間を尊敬している。

junくんが提案してくれたテーブルは、

『tensegrity』

(Kenneth Nelsonが発案、Richard Buckminster Fullerが提唱)

という概念をつかった、折り畳めて持ち運べるテーブル。

これからも移動をし続けるであろう私たちのために。

さっそく模型をつくって見せてくれたのだけど、

もうこの時点で大興奮！

tensegrityにはまってしまい、

最近、ついつい、画像を集めてしまう。

愛すべき友人に

愛すべき人と使うテーブルを作ってもらえるなんて。

なんてなんて贅沢でしあわせなんだ。
